How to Use This Tool

Get Your Certificate

  1. Locate your SSL certificate file (usually with .crt, .cer, or .pem extension)
  2. Open the file in a text editor
  3. Copy the entire contents including the BEGIN and END lines
  4. Paste it into the Certificate field or upload the file directly

Get Your CSR

  1. Locate your Certificate Signing Request file (usually with .csr extension)
  2. Open the file in a text editor
  3. Copy the entire contents including the BEGIN and END lines
  4. Paste it into the CSR field or upload the file directly

Verify Match

  1. Click the "Verify Match" button to check if your certificate and CSR match
  2. The tool will compare the public keys in both files
  3. If they match, your certificate was issued for the CSR you provided
  4. If they don't match, you may have used different private keys
